Chris was Taylor’s original “rotational” student beginning his 9U season, and he has been devoted to that core teaching ever since.  His consistent and persistent work under Taylor’s guidance has produced results that have exceeded our wildest expectations.  Chris has been successful competing at the highest levels of youth baseball while playing with one of the nation’s most competitive teams: the Rattlers.  The Rattlers have won five national tournaments:  9U Triple Crown, 10U USSSA Elite 24, 12U Cooperstown Week 4, 12U Super Series Super 16 and the 12U National Youth Baseball Championship with Chris batting in the heart of its line up.

If you are considering helping your player, I can only say one thing:  “Do it and do it Taylor’s way.”  If you have questions about his approach, take a look at any great major league hitter, and you will see the same core movements that Taylor will teach your player.  If you question whether your child can do it, consider that Chris picked this up at age 8, and with Taylor’s support, he has worked hard to develop a swing that has produced a high average with power.  Chris consistently puts the ball in play with punch, minimizes strike-outs and hits the ball with power including a stretch during this past 12U season that included 11 homeruns in 11 games.  The only question I have for you is:  “What are you waiting on?”

After several years of being successful at the plate, I found myself in a slump and lacking the power and confidence I once had. After training with Taylor Bales for his week long intensive rotational mechanics program, along with several follow up lessons, I began understanding the concept "the video analysis is an eye opener". I'm now hitting the ball harder with less effort and greater results, and I finished my senior year batting .536 with a .964 slugging percentage. Thank you, Taylor, for all of your help and dedication to the game you love; you will make my transition to the next level easier because of your program. All young athletes willing to work hard and dedicate themselves to be the best should be in your program.

Just wanted to update you on Joseph's hitting. He went throught the rotational system with you  one year ago.  When you got him, his swing was pretty much broken.  We were looking for a system that would be more that just modifying what he was already doing.  We wanted a complete system and not a method that requires regular long-term instruction, constant tweaking and constantly adjusting the mechanics.  We started researching and found you and the rotational hitting.  It was exactly what we were looking for.  The system and the drills you presented and worked him through has changed his hitting forever.  Also, not just anybody can take a system and teach it to a child and make him successful.  It takes a real coach that can work with a kid and find a way to make him truly grasp the concepts.  You are an excellent coach and really in tune with what it takes to communicate with a kid.  Since he completed your system, he has seen you one additional time; no regular visits, no tweaking, just sticking to the system and letting the fundamental concepts guide him.  His average is up, his power is increased, and he is hitting hard to all areas of the field.

Thanks, Joe Miller

My son, Ben, finished his 11 major season with a good batting average but lacking the power he desired, and had yet to hit his first home run. With the start of the new year in January '08, Ben and I met with Taylor for an introductory evaluation of Ben's swing and to discuss the rotational hitting philosophy. The logic behind it, coupled with the great rapport Taylor created with Ben sealed our commitment for a seven lesson, two week program. Fast forward to July 18 at the USSSA World Series in Grand Prairie, Texas where Ben's team faced the Louisiana State Champion in the title game.  Ben went three for three on 5 pitches with three home runs - one to each field. Certainly, Ben couldn't have accomplished this without his hard work and the teachings of Taylor Bales at Pure Power Hitting.  He got his first home run in March, and had consistent results throughout the season.  Ben's batting average increased by almost 100 points, and his slugging percentage jumped by even more. One third of his hits were doubles, triples and home runs. It' not magic, but with hard work this program generates results.

Hey Taylor,
I just wanted to thank you and encourage you to continue your study and teaching of the proper swing sequence (which is rotational!). Not only have you helped me improve, you have also contributed to regaining the enjoyment I had for this game as a kid. The next generation needs this before they are polluted with ineffective techniques which lead to nothing but frustration.
Thanks

A few years back when my child was 9, my wife and I had some issues with our child’s "Kyle" swing.  When we first started select baseball, it was a different world.  It seemed every daddy coach that saw Kyle swing would say they same thing, “he’s not swinging the bat correctly."  I was not one to say very much, but I am a person of curiosity. I watched other kids swing and make contact with the ball just as my child.  I never saw any difference between their kids or mine.  Their kid’s weren’t knocking the ball out of the park.  Anyhow we had a coach who was really giving Kyle a hard time, and would yell at him while he was batting.  So my wife and I decided to take some batting lessons, it wasn't the first time we had done this, but it also has never been explained to me quite like this before.  Taylor Bale explained the difference between rotational hitting and linear hitting.  Well I'm here to tell you I've never played baseball in my life, but what Taylor explained made more sense to me than what any other daddy coach has every said ( Quote SWING DOWN AT THE BALL ).  After taking several lessons from Taylor we met heavy resistance from other coaches, but we continued to practice this type of swing path.  I am here to tell you it works.  Don't think for a minute your kid won’t strike out, but sense Kyle started learning Rotational hitting, he has produced more line drive shots over the infield because it really boils down to one thing, " I HOPE MY KID GETS ON BASE."  The following year Kyle continued to practice his swing and was able to get good sound mechanics working on his power V extension. Through our 10 year old season I watched Kyle go 8 out of 10 with all 8 hits known as frozen ropes and all 8 hits striking the fence at 210 feet. By the way the other two were walks.  The power Kyle had from his swing it sounded as if the bat was going to break.  During our world series Kyle hit a line shot so hard, it took the second baseman’s glove off his hand and the glove and ball landed in center field.  Taylor has been a great inspiration to Kyle's batting performance. Thanks Taylor

My 15 year old son, Jordan, had just finished the freshman high school baseball season at Kingwood where he had seen limited playing time. He decided his goals for the next high school season was to become a starter.  He was a good contact hitter but he had very limited power.  He realized that he needed to hit for more power if he wanted to accomplish this goal.  He had had lessons with other instructors in past before but we were tired of the “fix this, do this” instruction. There was no plan or direction so you never knew what you were striving towards.  So we went looking for a model that could be implemented and maintained by my son.  When we met with Taylor we knew we had found our guy.  He explained and demonstrated what the rotational hitting model is and how you implement it.  After the initial 2 hour session and completing the 7 lesson over a 2 week period Jordan was hitting for a lot more power.  Jordan spent the remainder of summer working on his rotational mechanics.   Fast forward to the fall baseball season and opening day he hits every ball hard and out of the infield.  This is from a 15 year kid who was only 5’ 2” and 100 pounds (late bloomer) playing on the 60’ 90’ field.  His coach and the opposing coaches asked what I had been feeding him since he was generating so much more power for a small guy.  Even the umpire noticed.  He completed the season having the most extra base hits he had in any season.  He is really looking forward to the upcoming high school season to show the coaches ‘the new player’ who is swinging the bat.

Hey Coach Taylor

Remember Koy from this summer.  Little guy, 11 years old looking for a little more pop.  Started fall ball about a month ago with ORWALL. 6 games into the season he's batting over 600 and has hit 3 balls to the fence.  I'm amazed at how he's gone from barely being able to hit the ball out of the infield  to hitting farther than kids 3 times his size.  I cant wait til he grows into his new swing and further improves on the techniques you taught him. Its going to be fun to watch. Thanks for everything.

Steve
